Project Stories

Behind every Malapa camp and lodge is a brief, a site and a set of problems to solve. Project Stories follows each one from first sketch to the finished build.

What does a Malapa project involve?

Depending on the brief, Malapa handles architecture, interiors and engineering, then produces, procures and builds, often in some of Africa’s most remote locations.

Where has Malapa built?

Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa, for operators including Natural Selection, &Beyond, African Bush Camps, Gorongosa Safaris and African Parks.
